Three-Star DE Brennan Jackson Talks Cal, Washington State Offers, Summer Camp Plans

Feb. 28 -- Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak has some talented players in the 2018 class and defensive end Brennan Jackson is a player that will play at the high BCS level...

Brennan Jackson is a tall, rangy defensive end with a nice upside to him.

He's a natural pass rusher with a prototype 6-4, 220 pound frame and as he fills out and gets stronger, he projects as a very nice player at the college level.

He shows well on film coming off the edge and racked up 88 tackles and 10 quarterback sacks. He flashes a nice burst off the snap, uses his hands well to disengage and has the speed and athleticism to run down plays from behind. He's rangy, pursues very well, is strong in run support an shows a nice edge to his game.

On the recruiting front, Cal was first to step up and offer and Washington State has jumped in and offered as well. He took an unofficial visit to UCLA earlier the month and continues to hear from San Diego StateBoise State and Oregon State.

Jackson is planning to go through the process and take his visits but did say he could pull the trigger early if the right offer came along.
