3-star OL Offeree Max Barth Checks Out UCLA

March 29 -- Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's offensive lineman Max Barth visited UCLA this month and has a few more Pac-12 schools he wants to check out...

Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's offensive lineman Max Barth is prepping for a busy spring.

The three-star has already visited one Pac-12 school and plans to visit three more Pac-12 schools in the coming weeks.

Earlier this month, Barth visited UCLA.

"It was great and I was super impressed with the coaches and the new facilities," said Barth.

On the visit, Barth met with a number of Bruin coaches.

"I met with Coach (Angus) McClure, Coach (Hank) Fraley and Coach (Jim) Mora," said Barth.

Barth said that the time with the UCLA coaches was the highlight of the visit and enjoyed getting to spend time with new offensive line coach Hank Fraley.

"The UCLA coaches are a great group of guys," said Barth.  "Coach Fraley especially and he was really helpful with me and my parents on the trip."

Barth also got to check out the new facilities being built.

"The Wasserman Building stood out the most to me," said Barth.  "I was very impressed with it."

The Bruins are among a short list of schools standing out to Barth.

"My most outstanding offers right now are UCLA, OregonUtah and California," said Barth.

He plans to visit those three before the summer.

"I have an Oregon visit planned and I'm planning on making visits to Utah and Cal soon after," said Barth.

Other schools have been in contact with him and he thinks another Pac-12 school could be close to offering.

"I've been in contact with TCUOklahoma and Arizona State and ASU seems the closest to offering," said Barth.

Barth said he's uncertain which camps he'll be doing in the spring but he's certain a decision isn't near.

"Right now, I don't plan on deciding any time soon," said Barth.
