Elite 2020 Prospect and His Dad Grew Up UCLA Fans

Mar. 29 -- A talented defensive back from Georgia is only a freshman, but three schools have already offered him a scholarship, including UCLA, the team he and his father grew up following...

Although he is only a freshman, T Lee has been playing beyond his years and those who know him, including Derrick Tatum of the 7-on-7 organization Elite Talent, say he is the next big thing to come out of that program and the state of Georgia.

Lee showed his physicality and cover skills at Saturday's United Stars Chicago Showcase and demonstrated why he holds offers from UCLAUCF and Charlotte already.

"It's a blessing," he said. "At first, I didn't see them coming but once I saw the first one, they started to come rolling in. It's a blessing and makes me work harder. I'm thankful for that."

The Bruins may be further away from home than the rest, but that will not deter Lee or his family from giving them a hard look.

"My dad, when he was growing up, he was a big UCLA fan. When I got the offer, he wanted me to go there and check it out. I've always been a good UCLA fan so hopefully now that I got the offer, I can get out there and check it out.

"So far I've only talked to [Demetrice Martin], the secondary coach and assistant head coach, that's it. We talked a few times about getting out there around April so hopefully I can get out there soon."

Lee is also attracting interest from several other top programs.

"I was recently just at Georgia for the first spring practice. I've been to Notre Dame, Western Michigan and Michigan State."
