April 29 -- Milpitas (Calif.) athlete Tariq Bracy has a few schools standing out to him but doesn't plan to make a decision anytime soon...

Milpitas (Calif.) athlete Tariq Bracy is one of the top two-way prospects in the West in the 2018 class.

Bracy has a doezn offers and more could make their way to him during the eval period.

"I have 12 offers, from Washington State, Cal, Utah, San Jose State, Wyoming, San Diego State, Nevada, Boise State, Colorado State, Hawaii, Fresno State and Eastern Washington," said Bracy.

While Bracy doesn't have plans to narrow his list anytime soon, a few schools are standing out.

"I don't have a top five at the moment," said Bracy.  "Utah, Washington State, Boise State and San Diego State have stood out but I am still open to all schools.

Bracy has built relationships with a handful of coaches.

"Coach (Hunkie) Cooper from San Diego State, Coach (Jim) Mastro from Washington State and Coach Jamie Christian from Fresno State are some of the coaches I've been talking with," said Bracy.

A few others have been in contact with him, though they've not yet offered.

"Notre Dame, USC, UCLA and Colorado are other schools recruiting me," said Bracy.

Bracy has visited Fresno State for their Junior Day and will be at UCLA's Spring Game on Saturday and then visit USC later in the day.

"And I plan to visit other schools," said Bracy.

Bracy can play on either side of the ball, but most of the attention for the 6-0, 170-pounder has been for defense.

"Most schools are recruiting me for DB," said Bracy, who plays cornerback.

Bracy said growing up, he never had a favorite, but his recruitment has him one step closer to his childhood dream.

"I didn't have a favorite school but I've always had a dream of playing college football," said Bracy.
