The Braves had the best defensive line in the region last year. The line was so strong in fact, that talented sophomore Sua'ava Poti actually has more offers than games he played in this past season.
Poti played in just four games last season but is now up to seven total offers and should hit double digits in a few weeks. When you look at his size and natural athleticism, it's easy to see why college coaches are all over him despite the limited film.
He's a rock solid 6-3, 275 pounds and actually looks lean at that size because of how well put together he is. He's a naturally strong kid, moves well and has the ability to play anywhere on the defensive line. He played as an end last season but probably projects in college as an interior tackle or three-tech as he'll have no problem carrying close to 300 pounds.
On the recruiting front, Poti attended the Oregon spring game over the weekend and landed an offer from the Ducks. Boston College, San Diego State and Washington State all offered this week after visiting the Bosco campus and those four schools join earlier offers from BYU, Florida Atlantic and San Jose State.
In addition to visiting Oregon, Poti has also been to San Diego State, UCLA and USC said he plans to camp with both L.A schools along with the Arizona Wildcats over the summer.
