UCLA In Good Spot For Local WR and DB C.J. Parks of Santa Ana Mater Dei

May 17 -- Scout.com caught up with three-star wide receiver C.J. Parks to discuss his recent offer from UCLA and where the Bruins stand in his recruitment...

The recruiting process is beginning to pick up for C.J. Parks.

The three-star receiver from powerhouse Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei possesses a reliable set of hands, consistently gets open at the slot position and does well to come down with the football, even in heavy traffic. Parks recently added offers from Boston CollegeIllinois and UCLA.

The Bruins offered the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Parks as an athlete given his versatility to play cornerback as well, and he's got a family connection on the staff that has UCLA sitting in a good spot. Parks said he would like to get out east to see other programs that have been expressing interest and camp locally with the Bruins and USC before he announces a decision by the end of the summer.

Check out the video above to hear what Parks had to say about his recruitment at the second annual Orlando Scandrick & Jeron Johnson Elite 7v7 Tournament over the weekend.
