LB Katoanga Plans to Camp with UCLA

May 26 -- Oceanside (Calif.) El Camino linebacker Rocky Katoanga thinks more offers could be close and he plans to camp with UCLA this summer...

Oceanside (Calif.) El Camino linebacker Rocky Katoanga (6-2, 225) continues to pick up offers and thinks even more could be coming.

San Jose State offered Katonaga earlier this week, his fourth offer, joining offers from HawaiiIdaho and Navy.

"We've had a lot of schools come out this spring to see Chris (Brown, his four-star teammate) and we have more coming," said Katoanga.

Katoanga has visited Oregon StateNevada and San Diego State.

"Nevada is coming out this week and so is San Diego State and UCLA, Coach (Scott) White is coming out this week too.

Katoanga said he's hearing two different positions.

"Some schools are saying as a linebacker, some are saying as a safety," said Katoanga.  "It doesn't matter to me though.  If they want me to play safety, I'll transition there.  If they want me to play linebacker, I'll put my heart into it."

Katoanga said he plans to camp with UCLA and Boise State this summer.

Offers from Idaho, Navy and Hawaii and then SJSU this week.  As a LB, some saying safety. Doesn’t matter, if they want to play safety, ill transition, if they want LB, ill put my heart into it. I went to Oregon State with Chris and then Nevada and SDSU Nevada, coming out this week.
