San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian defensive back D'Angelo McKenzie (5-11, 180) has over 10 offers.
And more schools could be close to joining that mix.
But in the meantime, two schools are sticking out to him.
Brian Polian, who's long been a strong recruiter in the West, is running point for Notre Dame with McKenzie.
"Coach (Polian) keeps in contact and always asks how I'm doing and then we talk football," said McKenzie. "It has been a good thing with him recruiting me."
Demetrice Martin has the lead for UCLA with him.
"I love Coach Meat, he's always talking to me too and always on me, talking about my ability and about football," said McKenzie.
Both schools like that McKenzie can play safety or corner, but he has a preference.
"Neither have really said specifically what they what me to play, but if I can got to pick, I'd pick safety," said McKenzie. "I'm an athlete and I can be moved around, but I prefer safety."
But even with two schools sticking out, McKenzie doesn't plan to decide anytime soon.
"Oh, I definitely want to take all five of my visits before I decide," said McKenzie.
