Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan 2020 running back Kendall Milton is already one of the more heavily recruited freshmen in the country.
The 6-1.5, 205-pound Milton has seven offers, his first coming just after he finished eighth grade.
"I can't say I expected this to happen, it was kind of surprising, but once they started rolling in, they really started to come," said Milton. "I mean, I had an idea it could happen but it has been a blessing."
A few are sticking out to him early.
"Right now, I'd say UCLA, Fresno State, Utah and Oregon State are standing out to me and BYU too because they took the first chance with me in offering me," said Milton.
Milton got down to UCLA during spring ball.
"UCLA has a beautiful campus and the intensity was nice for a spring game," said Milton. "The players were amped up and fired up and all the coaches showed me love. Coach (DeShaun) Foster is recruiting me and he was great and told me everything he had planned for me and gave me some good tips."
Milton has also been to San Jose State and Fresno State and plans to hit a number of schools over the next couple of years.
This summer, he'll camp at Sacramento State for their on-campus satellite camp, the Ray Lewis IMG Camp and USC's Rising Stars.
