Jarrad Page, 6-0, 190, San Leandro (Calif.) High, attended the UCLA/Ohio State game and said he had a very good time.
"It was a lot of fun," Page said. "I liked it. I liked the fans, and the team played a good game. The defense looked great, shutting them out."
Page said that UCLA is still his clear favorite. "They're still the leader. They've been my favorite for a long time. Growing up I liked UCLA. My brother went there and graduated two years ago. So I've spent time there and feel good there."
Page said he's also considering USC and Washington, as well as Arizona State and Cal. Page went to one USC game a few weeks ago and plans on going to the Cal/Washington game this weekend. He hasn't set up any official visits yet, but said he was "in the process."
Page, who said he's scored three touchdowns, made 15 tackles and one sack in two games playing both wide receiver and safety this season, intends to wait until he takes his visits to decide. "I like UCLA but I'm not going to commit soon. Not yet. I'm trying to see other campuses. I really haven't seen all the schools that I'm interested in. I also want to get to know their depth charts, see what players they have." Page said he definitely wants to visit UCLA, USC and Washington.
While at the UCLA/Ohio State game Page said he talked to a few other recruits at the game. "I talked to Glenn Ohaeri and Lorenzo Booker. I got along with them well. Glenn said he was thinking about UCLA or USC. I talked to Drew Olson, too. He was pretty cool."
Page said he maintains a 3.0 GPA and scored a 1090 on his SAT.
