At the NorCal Nike Camp last spring, he was very impressive in his combination of size and quickness. It was quite apparent how much the Washington coaches were impressed with Forrester tht day, and it's not a surprise that the Huskies were the first to offer him. Since then he's been offered by Utah and is receiving an increased amount of recruiting attention, especially as a result of his play so far for undefeated Venice.
In four games so far this season, Forrester has 43 tackles, three interceptions and two sacks for the City's #1-ranked team. Last season he led Venice with 107 tackles, along with three inteceptions an four sacks. He's known for his ability to close on the ball and his big hits.
Forrester said he's hearing from the entire Pac-10, but has had a favorite for some time. "It's UCLA," Forrester said. Attending the game against Washington Saturday, Forrester's interest in the Bruins was even further confirmed. "It was a great game, and a lot of fun to see how well they played and the crowd getting loud like it did. UCLA has been my favorite and the game only made me know that more."
