He wouldn't say who was his current leader is, but did say, "I like UCLA a lot. It's weird, all those other schools are from the South, but UCLA is up there, too. When I was out there (for the Arcadia Invitational), I went and checked out the campus. It was great. The schools have to have a good track program for me to even consider them. UCLA does."
Currently, Carter, the #2 ranked receiver in the nation by TheInsiders.com, has no official trips set up at the time.
"My dad and I are still going over it. It's hard with my games trying to go to places but I know I am going to be taking all of my trips and not decide until signing day."
Carter's only trip to a game has been the Florida A&M-Florida game in September.
So far in his senior year, Carter has been making things happen on special teams. He only has 8 receptions for 300 yards (in a running offense) and three touchdowns's. But he has four touchdowns on punt and kick-off returns. "I just have to do stuff on kicks and punt returns. I'm playing corner, too, but no one throws it to my side. Sometimes, I get bored. But we're 5-0."
With 42 offers already, Carter will have his pick, but again, he reiterated what he is looking for in a school: "They have to be one of the best in track."
