Tuiasosopo Talks About Visit

Quarterback prospect <B>Matt Tuiasosopo</B> is down to three schools and he took his first official visit this weekend to UCLA. Washington and USC are the two other lucky schools fighting to land the nation's No. 5 rated signal caller...

Elite 11 quarterback UCLA. Tuiasosopo is now down to three schools and the Bruins got his first visit.

"I really like coaching staff at UCLA," Tuiasosopo said. "I got to see how they prepare for a game and that was cool. The game day atmosphere is good. That's a school I feel pretty comfortable at and that's important to me."

Tuiasosopo, 6-2 and 205 pounds, is from Woodinville, Washington. He has narrowed his choices to UCLA, Washington and UCLA. For now, he has not set up visits to the Huskies and Trojans.

"I have not set a timetable for anything. I will take it day and day. I am really trying to find a place where I feel most at home."

Tuiasosopo is one of the most sought after quarterbacks from the West Coast and in the country. He is a four-star quarterback ranked No. 5 overall in the country. He particiapted this past July in the Elite 11 quarterback camp in California. There, he was one of the most impressive quarterbacks at the camp and he walked away a better football player.

"It really helped me, especially in the passing game because we are mainly an option team and run the ball. But I think I have improved over last season. My footwork is better and I think my accuracy is as well. In this system, I get to run a lot and I think I am pretty versatile out there.

"My brother has helped me a lot both mentally and physically. We get out and throw whenever we can."

Woodinville in done for the season and they finished 5-4 on the year.
