Possible JC QB Commit On The Verge?

UCLA could be receiving a much needed verbal commitment from a quarterback this Wednesday evening, with the Bruins dipping into the JC ranks...

Sources are indicating that Santa Monica College QB David Koral, 6-2, 215, formerly of Palisades (Calif.) High and Vanderbilt, will commit to UCLA in an in-home visit this evening with head coach Karl Dorrell.

Koral, for those who remember him, was the leading passer in California in 2000, and was a quarterback for the California team in CalifFlorida (along with Matt Leinart). He is up to about 6-2 now, around 3 inches taller than he was a HS senior.

This season at Santa Monica Koral put up 2,375 yards in leading the Corsairs to the Western State Conference Southern Division championship.
