OL Prospect Klovas Down to Three

The big offensive lineman from Washington, Aaron Klovas, returned from his official visit to UCLA Sunday. He talked about his visit and the three schools he's still considering...

Offensive tackle prospect Aaron Klovas of Spanaway Bethel (Wash.) has narrowed down his choices to three.

"I cut it down from seven and I like all three the same. It'll be very tough," says Klovas.

He said it's between Washington St, Oregon and UCLA and the Cougars will be his final visit on 12/19.

"The coaches are going to be at my house on December 16th and I plan to set up a visit with them then.

"I really like the small town atmosphere at Washington St. It's a family feel and I liked the coaches a lot at the camp this summer. I just learned a lot that day."

Aaron just returned from UCLA this weekend (12/12) and his host was OT Ed Blanton. "I love the campus and the coaches are great. I met Coach Dorrell for the first time and I like his vision. He really believes they can be back to how they were when he played there.

"I really liked L.A. and I'd love to go back there for a vacation or something. There are a lot of cool guys and cool cars and the girls are great. It's just a fun place to walk around."

He also already visited Oregon on 12/5 and says Coach Bellotti will visit him at home on December 17th. "It was a great experience. I've been down there quite a bit, so I'm pretty familiar with them."

Aaron says he'll decide in January. "I want to take some time over break and talk to my parents and hopefully come up with a school. It's probably going to be the first week of January."

He visited Michigan St on September 26th and Arizona St on October 11th, but isn't condering either.

"I couldn't get over the distance at Michigan State and Arizona State kind of quit calling, but I never really showed much interest in them either."

Klovas said he has a 3.3 and scored a 910 on the SAT.
