UCLA Looks Good for Louisiana OL

UCLA find themselves battling the Buffaloes for Louisiana offensive line prosepct Aaron Meyer. He only plans on taking three official trips...then his parents will help him decide.

Louisiana OL Aaron Meyer (6-3, 270) favors UCLA slightly over Colorado (in-home 12/17) and both lead solid over Mississippi, Clemson and Louisville. All have offered, and there are no official visits set.

"UCLA has really high academic standards," said Meyer, from River Ridge Curtis. "It's a great place all-around. I know the most about them and I think they'll be getting better. The coaches are young and energetic and are very honest with you.

"Colorado is recruiting me the hardest and they have a great offense. It's a great place to be. I've done a lot of research and I watched them on TV a lot this year. It seems like there's a lot to do there.

"I'm not going to set up my visits until after the holidays. I only plan to take three visits and I'm gonna talk it over with my coach and I'll visit Colorado and UCLA for sure. But I don't know about the other one.

"I'm gonna sit down with my parents and have them help me decide. They aren't telling me where to go, but they'll be part of my decision."

Meyer said he has a 3.3 GPA and ascored a 19 on the ACT.
