Injury Report

With a number of key players banged up, here's the injury outlook for the week and the game against Washington State on Saturday...

Among the beat-up quarterbacks, starter Cory Paus is, in the words of Head Coach Bob Toledo, "doubtful." Acording to Toledo, he more than likely won't be able to play and will only be available as a potential back-up behind both Scott McEwan and Ryan McCann. The report is that Paus can't grip the ball with his injured thumb.

After talking to a trainer, Toledo believes that Scott McEwan "will probably be ready to play." Much will depend on how McEwan's sprained ankle is this week, but he figures to get most of the reps in this week's practice and be the starter on Saturday against Washington State.

Safety Jason Stephens suffered a turf toe injury in the first half of the game and is out for the WSU game. He's expected to be out possibly 1-2 weeks.

Doubtfuls:

Blane Kezirian – concussion.

Cody Joyce – concussion.

Brian Poli-Dixon – shoulder, doubtful. More will be known later in the week.

Troy Danoff – separated shoulder, sprained ankle, very questionable.

Probables:

Marques Anderson – shoulder.

Ryan Smith – slight shoulder separation.

Bryan Fletcher – ankle sprain.

Shane Lehmann – ankle sprain.
