Brown has a pretty strong top two favorite colleges, but a trio of other schools are also still putting the press on him already.
"I am going to take any school serious that is interested in me," Brown said. "I don't care which school it is. If they are serious about me, then I am serious about them."
Brown is in no hurry to make a decision on his future college. "I plan to take all five of my trips. By Signing Day, I'll know where I'm going to go."
Brown teams up with Adrian McCovey to form Southern California's best linebacking corps, both playing inside. "Me and Adrian, we talk about playing in college together. We are a dominating duo," said Brown.
Brown and McCovey finished 1-2 in tackles for Lakewood a season ago, one that saw their team finish second in the Moore League, but lose in the first round of the CIF Playoffs. "That ain't going to happen again. We are going farther next season," said Brown. "We are a small team, but we have the speed to make it farther than we did last year."
Brown prefers to play on the inside, but if a school wants to move him to the outside and play earlier, Brown is willing to make the switch. "I'll play wherever."
His camp plans include the Nike Camps and a camp at USC this weekend.
Brown has a 2.5 GPA and will take his the SAT in March.
