Robert Rothbart, 7-0 JR PF, Sacramento (Calif.) Natomas, announced he had chosen Indiana over UCLA Sunday night, according to sources.

UCLA had started recruiting Rothbart mid-season, after Rothbart had take official visits to Indiana, Arizona, Missouri and California.

UCLA then got involved, needing frontcourt players who could face the basket. He took his official visit to UCLA a few weeks ago.

Rothbart had narrowed down his choice to between Indiana and UCLA.

While being probably the best qualified player in the seniior class left available, Rothbart is also considered a project. While he has good skills for his size, he's also still pretty thin and needs to get stronger and more aggressive.

UCLA, of course, is still not done with the high school senior class. The Bruins still await the decision of Malik Hairston, the 6-5 McDonald's All-American from Detroit (Mich.) Renaissance.
