Burbank (Calif.) Burroughs offensive line prospect Eben Britton (6-6, 280) is no longer seriously considering USC as a destination.

He attended the Trojan line camp this past Saturday as well as USC's Junior Day, and didn't feel he fit in as well as he had hoped. "I had to play guard at the USC camp and I really wanted to play tackle," said Britton.

He recently picked up an offer from Washington State, now putting the Cougs in his top six, which also includes new leader UCLA followed by Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State and Harvard. All have offered except Harvard--which doesn't issue athletic scholarships.

"I'm going to be going to the UCLA camp (June 6th)," said Britton. "They are my number one choice now. I love their campus and I really like coach (Tom) Cable. He seems to be an awesome coach who would teach me a lot. He likes hard workers. Coach Cable is really about how much work you do.

"I'd say there is a 50/50 chance I'll choose UCLA, but I don't think I'll commit anywhere before the season starts. I'm thinking about going to both the Arizona (first to offer) and Arizona St camps. It'll just depend on when they are. I know I'll be going to the San Diego State (also offered) camp on July 6."

Britton says he has a 3.5 GPA and will take the SAT May 1st.
