Junior OL Prospect Tevita Stevens

After a good day at a recent camp, 6-3, 295-pound Tevita Stevens from Hemet could be among the best offensive line prospects in California. One school has really improved in his eyes, while he's a life-long fan of another...

offensive line prospect Tevita Stevens, 6-3, 295, Hemet (Calif.) High, was one of the top perfomers at the recent USC Skills Camp.

"(USC offensive line) coach Tim Davis really liked me," said Stevens. "It seems like there were a thousand kids there and they selected the top five offensive and defensive linemen to go up against each other towards the end of the day. I went up against an opponent three times and I won every time. Coach Davis was real happy with what he saw from me. I liked the way he was teaching me. I learned some new things."

Stevens was impressed enough with USC and Coach Davis that he says that UCLA, his long-time leader, now only holds a "slight" lead for his services over the Trojans. He is a lifelong Bruins fan.

"I am a Bruins fan, big-time," Stevens explains. "I always have been but I like USC a lot right now, too."

He does not have any offers yet and has not received any May phone calls.

The rest of his top schools include Nebraska, Arizona State, Colorado, and Cal. This summer he will attend the Cal camp and says he has a lot of family near Berkeley. Stevens will also possibly make it to the USC and BYU camps.

Tevita carries a 4.0 core GPA and would like to major in History.
