Blake Wallace, a 6-6 sophomore small forward from Anaheim (Calif.) Servite, is a versatile prospect. He can play on the perimeter with his ability to handle the ball and shoot it with three-point range. But he's also a good rebounder and willing to mix it up inside. With continued development, we expect Wallace to be a high major prospect.

We spoke with Wallace yesterday and asked him about the schools that have been expressing interest so far.

"Cal, Syracuse, Kansas, UCLA, Wake Forest, Stanford and Oregon," said Wallace. "Cal offered me a scholarship and I'll probably take an unofficial visit there in June. I might also visit Wake Forest in June as well."

We asked Wallace what he's looking for in a school and he said, "someplace where I can come in and play, make an impact. I want a coach who will make be better as a player and a person."

Does Wallace see himself making an early decision?

"In the right siuation, I might decide early," said Wallace. "But if I'm not ready, I'll be patient to make the right choice."

Wallace told us he has no geographical preference when it comes to choosing a school.

Wallace said he has a 3.0 GPA and he'll take the SAT later this month.
