He also expects more to come in the next coming months.
"I know a few other schools said they will be making offers to me real soon, so I have a lot of different schools to choose from," Oatis said.
Oatis said that Notre Dame and Ohio State were his two leaders, but that no school was out and that UCLA was "one of my higher schools".
"I like UCLA's campus, and the academics there. I've taken an unofficial to UCLA. Coach (Dino) Babers is recruiting me. He's real friendly, tells it like it is. It's family like there."
Oatis didn't attend any Nike Camps this spring, and his only plan for the summer is to possibly attend Stanford's Team Camp.
"I'm not sure about any camps. Right now its mainly passing league for the summer."
Oatis' junior year saw him rush for 1,300 yards on 220 carries and score 13 touchdowns. He tallied 69 tackles, a pair of picks and two forced fumbles.
So what is his timetable for a decision, with a bundle of offers already his?
"I'll take my five trips during the season. The earliest would be midseason of my year, but I definitely am taking some trips."
Oatis has a 4.1 GPA and qualified on his first attempt at the SAT, but plans to take it again in the Fall because he "wants to do better."
