UCLA's committed quarterback prospect, Osaar Rasshan from Pomona (Calif.) Garey, has looked particularly better in the seven-on-sevens at UCLA's four-day camp than during any event this spring.

While he still is very raw in his footwork and mechanics, in the seven-on-sevens he has throw the ball considerably better. Monday morning he made possibly the best throws I've personally seen of him -- throwing two 30-40 yarders downfield and hitting his man in stride. He has controlled his throws much better, with less balls floating on him.

In the seven-on-seven competition, Rasshan has shown good leadership and savviness in being able to move his team down the field. He's also played safety where he's had a couple of interceptions.

He looks good physically -- at 6-4ish and about 190. He currently has a body more suited for a basketball player, but has a good frame, with wide shoulders, looking like he could easily add 20 pounds of muscle. For his size, he moves very well, looking good scrambling a couple of times in the seven-on-sevens and running back the interceptions.

We'll have some video of Rasshan at UCLA's camp coming soon.
