Potasi Most Likely to Decide Between Two

The mammoth offensive line prospect from Narbonne, Alex Potasi, has set official visits to his two front runners, and he says there's a leader among the two...

Alex Potasi, 6-6, 320, Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne, said he's arranged two official visits, and more than likely his college choice will be from those two schools he'll visit.

Potasi said he's officially visiting Washington this weekend, and he'll take an official visit to UCLA on January 11th. He said both schools have offered him a scholarship.

Potasi is also considering Arizona, and said he has talked to the Arizona coaches about setting up a date for a visit. Arizona, though, hasn't offered.

Who's his leader? "Washington is the leader," Potasi said. "They're showing the most interest. I really like the Washington coaches. UCLA is second."

When asked what were the chances of him going to either Washington or UCLA, Potasi said they were high. "More than likely I'll go to either one of those. I was waiting for them both to offer. Washington offered a while ago. UCLA offered a few weeks ago. I had said before that if UCLA had offered, I was sure I'd go there. But it's not like that anymore. I'm going to wait and take all my trips. Even if the trip to Washington goes really well I still want to wait and take all my trips before I decide."

Potasi will visit Washington this weekend accompanied by his Narbonne teammates, running back Marcus O'Keith and defensive back Dashon Goldson, on their official visits. Potasi said both have been offered officially by Washington and that the Huskies lead for O'Keith also. "We've talked about going someplace together and I'll think about it seriously," Potasi said.
