UCLA Showing Bell Interest

UCLA is showing interest in the skilled 6-9 center from Utah, Brayden Bell, and they're one among a list of five schools Bell is interested in himself...

Brayden Bell, the 6-9 senior center from Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton, told us this afternoon that he's been receiving calls from Utah, UCLA, Ohio State, Pepperdine and Gonzaga since the end of July.

"Those have been the main ones," said Bell. "They've all been calling me."

Asked if any schools stand out for him at this time, Bell said, "No, I'm really interested in all of them right now."

Bell said he has yet to set up any official visits. He did say, however, that several of the schools have expressed interest in coming for in-home visits.

"Utah, UCLA, Ohio State and Pepperdine all said they want to have in-home visits during the contact period," said Bell.

We asked Bell if had given any more thought to signing in the fall or spring and he replied, "Probably in the fall."
