He has a solid top three.
"My main schools are UCLA, Stanford, and Duke," says Paulsen. "I don't really have a favorite. I also really like Boston College. They are starting to come on a bit."
Logan's Parents are from the Boston area and when we spoke with him he was visiting there. "Now that I am here, I really like Boston College and the whole area. The program is great and I still have a lot of family up here."
Speaking of the elder Paulsens, Logan tells us what his parents will consider in his college decision. "They just want me to go to a place where the environment is right. I also think they would kind of like me to stay closer to home."
That is where UCLA comes in as possibly the strongest contender. "I love the coaches and the feel of the school. It is close to home since it is only 45 minutes to an hour away. I have been watching the Bruins since I was little. I am not sure if they were my favorite team growing up but I remember them the most."
Coach Jim Svoboda is after him for UCLA.
Paulsen says that UA, BC, and Stanford are recruiting him the hardest.
Whatever school lands Logan, they will be getting a heck of an athlete for either side of the ball. "At tight end I work hard and I have good hands. I run routes well and I like to create mis-matches with my size. At defensive end I get off the ball very well."
TheInsiders can attest to Logan's great hands as we saw him make catch after catch at the UCLA Adidas and the USC overnight camps. He caught everything thrown in his vicinity at both places. Paulsen also attended the Beyond 2000 camp and the Stanford Nike Combine this summer.
He carries a 3.5 core GPA and scored an 1150 on his SAT. Chaminade gets their season started September 3rd versus Simi Valley Royal.
