Page is Pretty Steady

After his trip to UCLA, the defensive back from Northern California still wants to stick to the plan to take all of his visits. But he says he has a leader...

Jarrad Page, 6-0, 198, San Leandro (Calif.) High, returned from his trip to Westwood with UCLA still his leader.

"I didn't commit but they're still the leader," Page said.

The most important factor to Page was that he felt he fit in well during his visit. "The best part was to meet all the other recruits and hang out with the current players. I got along really well with every. We had a lot of fun. Matt Ware was my host and he's cool."

Page intends to go through with his original plan, and that is to wait until he completes his visits before he commits. Page visited Illinois December 7th, and has plans to visit Oregon State January 4th, Washington January 11th and Oregon January 18th. "I really want to wait until my last visit. I want to make it all the way to my last visit."

Page said that Washington and Illinois round out his current top three. He said his choice could come down between UCLA and Washington, and that the trip to Washington on January 11th could be a big factor in his decision.

Page is being recruited as a safety by all the schools he's considering.
