Recruiting Update from Cali-Fla Practice

Four prospects participating in the Cali-Florida All-Star game -- Jarrad Page, Antwuan Smith, Winston Justice and Keith Jackson -- give us updates on their recruiting situations...

Keith Jackson, 6-5, 300, Inglewood (Calif.) High, has a trip to Arizona scheduled for January 11th. He has already officially visited San Jose State, Oregon and Wisconsin. For his last trip, he said he'll pick among Arizona State, Oregon State and UNLV. He said he was still considering UCLA seriously, but still maintained he didn't want to visit UCLA officially since it was in his own backyard.

Antwuan Smith, 5-11, 180, Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan, will visit Oregon January 11th, Georgia Tech January 18th, and then intends to also visit Michigan in either of the two remaining weekends before signing day in February. Smith already visited UCLA, and said that UCLA is still his leader, "but it could be just because I haven't seen any other schools or had any other trips," he said. Smith did say that he and Aaron Miller, who are both from the Fresno area and know each other, have talked about going to UCLA together. "Most likely we'll go together," he said.

Jarrad Page, 6-0, 190, San Leandro (Calif.) High. Page has visited UCLA, and has plans to visit Oregon State January 4th, Washington January 11th and Oregon January 18th. He said that UCLA and Washington are still his leaders, but still intends to wait until his last visit, or right up until signing day, before he commits.

Winston Justice, 6-6, 300, Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, said his official visit to Washington "was pretty fun," and that he learned more about the program that he had known before. He will visit Oregon with a few Poly teammates on January 4th, then visit UCLA on January 11th, Tennessee January 18th, and said he could still possibly visit USC officially. "Since I'm seriously considering USC I should probably visit them officially," he said. Justice denied a leader at this time.
