"I was hearing from UCLA a lot, but I haven't heard as much from them recently," Head said. "Right now, I really like Colorado. They have been recruiting me the longest. And Cal and Utah are coming on too. But UCLA, it's close to home."
Head attended a few of UCLA's home games earlier this season, as well as some fall practices. Coach Dino Babers is recruiting him.
He has set visits up with CU and CSU, heading to Boulder on December 11th, and hitting Fort Collins on an unsettled date with Minor.
Even though Colorado heads for Head, if Cal or UCLA offered, it could shake things up. And even Utah has a chance to make a dent. "Utah is a real up and coming program. They saw some film of me and kind of came out of the blue."
Head said he is in no hurry to make a decision and that while he at first wanted to commit during the year, he is now waiting to see what all his options are, and what trips he can take before deciding. "I really wanted to commit during the season. But other schools have popped up so I need to see all of the choices," said Head.
Last weekend, Centennial beat Murrieta Valley, 42-20, to reach the semi-finals of CIF Division V.
Head has qualified for college with a 3.2 GPA and an SAT of 1080.
