Olson Finalizing His Recruiting Plans

The big quarterback prospect says his trip to UCLA was "awesome" and he talks about his plans for this weekend and which schools he is down to...

Quarterback Ben Olson visited UCLA this past weekend on his official visit and said "it was awesome."

Olson said he will most likely be taking a trip to Cal this weekend.

He also said that he will most likely not take his trip to either Oregon or South Carolina.

Olson's plan was to have the Cal coaches in-home on Tuesday night.

Most likely, Olson would be eliminating South Carolina and Oregon.

He had previously visited Arizona State and with UCLA, has taking two trips, with Cal to be his third.

Olson also said that Stanford would be a possibility if USC offensive coordinator Norm Chow took the head coaching position on The Farm, but that he also is trying to move quickly on making a decision.

Olson has set a target date of December 17th for an announcement.
