Jarrad Page, 6-0, 190, San Leandro (Calif.) High, said that his Washington visit was "fun" but that UCLA is still his leader.
"It was great, it was fun," Page said. "It's going to be a hard choice. I liked it out there. I'd still say that UCLA is my leader and that Washington is second."
Page said he's still doing well holding out on committing, and still fully intends to take his official visit to Oregon this weekend. "I've held out this long," he said. So when does he think he'll be able to make his decision? "I'm not sure. I may take an unofficial visit to USC. I liked USC from the beginning, but their coach stopped recruiting me because he thought I was going to UCLA. It was printed everwhere. So then they called me. If I'm going to take that unofficial to USC, I'd do it the week after Oregon. I'll decide when I get back. I may not take it. USC is probably my third choice behind UCLA and Washington."
Page has taken official visits to Illinois, Oregon State, UCLA and Washington so far, as well as an unofficial to Arizona State. He said he's getting to the point where he thinks he's seen enough to make his decision, he just has to process all the information. "I'm pretty close to narrowing it down between UCLA and Washington," he said. And when deciding between the two, if that's what it comes down to, Page said there were some factors that would weigh in his decision. If it wasn't UCLA or washington, USC would be my third choice. "I like Seattle, but, just like the weather would be something. L.A., well, it's more like the Bay Area. A bigger city environment. Seattle is a big city, but it's not like up here in the Bay Area or L.A. I like the big city."
