Darren Collison, 6-0 SR PG Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Etiwanda, was named MVP of the Ocean View Tournament of Champions.

Collison had two big games in the semifinals and finals of the tournament. In the semifinal win over Clovis West, Collison made every shot he took and finished with 30 points (including six threes), six assists, eight rebounds and two steals.

In the championship win over Ocean View, Collison had 25 points, six assists, four rebounds and four steals.

Taylor King, 6-6 SO PF Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, had 35 points to lead Mater Dei to a 75-72 win over Rainier Beach at the Les Schwab Hoop Challenge on Saturday.

King connected on 8 of 12 three-point attempts in the game. King made four free throw attempts at the end to seal the victory.

Mike Roll, 6-4 SR SF Aliso Viejo (Calif.) Aliso Niguel, was named MVP of the La Quinta Westminster tournament after leading Aliso Niguel to a 55-33 win over Estancia in the championship game of the tournament.

Roll scored 29 points in the win.
