The injury quarterback Drew Olson suffered to his knee against Wyoming in the Las Vegas Bowl could keep him out through next fall camp...
Starting junior quarterback Drew Olson
tore both his ACL and MCL in his left knee in the Wyoming game, according to UCLA.
Recovery from such an injury is usually a 7 to 9 month process. So, Olson's status is in doubt for fall camp for the 2005 season.
Olson suffered the injury when he was sacked in the Las Vegas Bowl against Wyoming.
Olson has yet to use his redshirt year.
"I feel bad for Drew," UCLA coach Karl Dorrell said. "He's s a great young man and one of our team leaders. Drew is a tough competitor, and if anyone came overcome a setback like this, it's Drew Olson."
