Crunkleton Makes Decision

The cornerback prospect from Denver (Col.) Mullen was down to three Pac-10 schools. Now, having taken all of his official visits, he say he knows where he wants to go...

Denver (Colo.) Mullen cornerback Grant Crunkleton, (5-11, 170) said a decision on his college choice will come this week, but he's pretty certain where he wants to go.

"I think I'm just about made my decision. One school is standing out right now, Arizona State. Its not for sure, but I think that's where I'm heading."

UCLA and Oregon are the other two candidates for Crunkleton.

Crunkleton took his official visit to UCLA in mid-December, his second official trip, and enjoyed his visit. This last weekend, he was in Eugene visiting Oregon. He said, "All of my trips went well. I'm just feeling Arizona State is the best place right now. I should know for certain by the end of the week."

An anchor in Mullen's secondary, Crunkleton helped lead them to a state championship game. He had 116 tackles this year and 7 interceptions, including a pair in the state championship game.

He has qualified with a 3.0 GPA and scored a 22 on his ACT.
