"I like Georgia, UCLA, USC, Virginia and Miami. One of my coaches has told me I have 38 offers but I don't really know which schools just yet. We're getting a new coach so it's kind of in that transition period," Cameron Smith said.
Cameron holds a west coast leader at this time. He said, "UCLA is my leader. I've always wanted to go back to California. I was born there and it's just something about UCLA that I like."
Why did the other four schools make his list?
Georgia: "All my friends are here and that's my hometown. They have a great coach and I know they will make me better."
USC: "It's a winning school so I know it can build me into an athlete and get me to where I want to be. It will make me better and give me a place to progress my skills."
Virginia: "I like the offensive coordinator and the whole offense they run. I talked to their coaches and I could see myself playing there."
Miami: "I always just liked Miami. I know I can get better and it's a place with great academics too."
What is he looking for most in a school? "I'm just looking for a coach that I can trust and a man who's going to lead me to something good and help me get better."
Where will he camp this summer? "I'm thinking about the UCLA, Virginia and Alabama camps but I haven't decided yet."
