Brian Carlwell, the 6-10 junior center from Maywood (Ill.) Proviso East that UCLA is trying to get involved with.

Carlwell is about 240 pounds, is very athletic and has good skills, and will probably end up ranked among the best centers in the country by the end of the summer.

Jamil Tucker, the 6-7 junior forward from Gary (Ind.) West Side who has a strong interest in UCLA, being orginally from Pasadena. UCLA is scouting him.


7-0 junior center Tom Herzog from Flint (Mich.) Powers. UCLA will try to get involved.
