Myers named his top three as UCLA, LSU and USC. He said, "I'd like to stay close to home if I can, and that's why I like UCLA and USC a lot. But I'm open to any school that has interest in me. I want to take some trips before I decide so there will be no rush."
Recruiting Myers for UCLA is running back coach Eric Bieniemy, and it's definitely a plus for Myers. "Coach Bieniemy is a real good person. He talks to me as a mentor," Myers said. "He's real honest and straightforward and he said he'd love to have me play for him, but for me to make sure I'm making the right decision."
During his junior year, his first at running back, he rushed for 1,347 yards and 20 touchdowns while also tallying 500 yards receiving. As a defensive back, he had 4 interceptions, returning one for a 79-yard touchdown, while also recovering 5 fumbles, another he returned 79-yards for a touchdown.
Myers was at the Nike Camp in Los Angeles, clocking a 4.5 forty, a 4.4 shuttle and jumping 30.9 on the vertical.
He plans to attend the Scout Combine in Los Angeles later this month.
