"Those schools are my favorites and so is LSU," said Lockett, who said he expects the in-state Tigers to be his next offer. "It doesn't matter to me if I stay in the South or go out West, I just want a good opportunity to play."
Lockett is being recruited by running backs coach Eric Bieniemy, who continues to make headway in the Bayou.
"Coack Bieniemy said they have a lot of players from Louisiana at UCLA and that I'd be another guy he'd like to have there from down here. He's a cool dude, real honest and straight forward and respectful. UCLA is one of my top schools. It sounds like a good opportunity."
During his junior year, Lockett had 70 tackles, 16 sacks, recovered 7 fumbles and had 12 more tackles for loss.
"I love to rush the quarterback, but I'm not just a pass-rusher. I can stop the run too."
Lockett won't make a hasty decision, instead he'll take his five visits and choose sometime near Signing Day.
He has a 2.8 GPA and takes the SAT in June.
