Alex Jacobson, the 6-11 junior center from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, has had a bit of a struggle off the court recently – so he could get on the court.

He attended Arizona's camp last week and suffered heat exhaustion.

"I drove there and was sick driving all the way home," said Jacobson.

So when he showed up to the Adidas Superstar Camp in Suwanee, Georgia, he said he didn't feel well Tuesday and didn't participate in the evening session.

"I feel better now," Jacobson said, despite still not looking quite like he has all of his stamina Wednesday.

When asked about recruiting, even though he still has some time before he's recruited seriously, Jacobson said there is one school that is the clear early leader for him.

"Arizona," he said. "They're my favorite. I'm a fan of Lute Olson, his coaching style and his success."

When he attended Arizona's camp, he said he got some positive feedback from the Arizona coaches. "They kind of said they could offer me a scholarship, but I don't know when."

Jacobson also mentioned UCLA and USC as potential considerations: "They're both local, in Southern California, so that's good. USC said if I went to their camp they'd offer me, but my high school coach wouldn't let me go because I had to play in the Mater Dei tournament. With UCLA, I know they only have one scholarship to give to my class, so I really don't know what they're going to do with it. If they were interested in offering, I'd definitely be interested."
