Big Junior QB Tom Grady

At 6-6, Tom Grady of Huntington Beach Edison is easily one of the "biggest" QB prospects around. He's had a favorite college growing up that is still his favorite...

Tom Grady, QB, 6-6, 210, Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison, is being flooded with mail from schools across the country, but one has been a childhood favorite and may be tough to beat for his services.

Grady has been hearing from many schools including Florida, Miami, UCLA, USC, Florida State, Oregon, Fresno St. and Arizona. "Arizona and Fresno St. have already offered me, and UCLA and USC have told me they will be offering me," Grady said.

When it comes to favorites, Grady said he likes Florida and Miami right now. "Florida has always been my dream school - mine and my brother's. I just like their system, and what they have done with their quarterbacks."

As far as attending camps, Grady will be going to the Los Angeles Nike camp at USC and the UCLA one-day camp. "I'll also be going to Florida or Oregon for a camp as well." Grady's dad played football at Cal, but his parents are not putting any pressure on Tom regarding his college decision.

Grady threw for 2,800 yards, 33 touchdowns and only three interceptions during his junior year. Grady has put on almost 20 pounds since completing his junior year. He has been participating in an off-season workout program with longtime quarterback guru Bob Johnson.

About one month ago Grady was spotted at a basketball game sporting a UCLA cap, but says that is not an indication of any leaning to the Bruins, that he just likes the cap. He carries a 3.4 GPA and will be taking the SAT in April.
