VIDEO: Dorrell on Wednesday Practice

The Head Coach talks about the health situation with some of the injured, and sounds relatively optimistic that one of the recovering players could play this weekend against Rice...

Quarterback Ben Olson participated in some individual and team drills, but didn't throw the ball more than 15 yards and didn't do it with any velocity. He still appears to be at least a week away from playing.

Chase Moline, the true freshman defensive tackle, looks to be getting more time playing with the first string. Head Coach Karl Dorrell said he warranted playing time after performing well in the San Diego State game, and would alternate with Nathaniel Skaggs at the nose guard position.

Back-up center Aaron Meyer sat out practice with a twisted ankle suffered Tuesday.

Injured defensive tackle Kevin Brown watched practice, on crutches, his ankle in a boot.
