And though he said he is "pretty much 100% committed", Montgomery said he still may take a couple of official visits to schools aside from Washington.
"It's the only trip I've taken so far, and it may be my only trip," said Montgomery. "But my mom wants me to look at two schools, California and UCLA. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, though."
Montgomery visited Washington officially over the weekend, and the trip was a great experience for him. "I loved it. Getting to meet the coaches and some other players, it was cool," said Montgomery.
He said he would decide in the next couple of weeks whether or not he takes the other two trips but that he is open to that possibility.
"It might be good to take some other trips, but I'm pretty happy I chose Washington," Montgomery said.
Montgomery was one of the top running backs on UCLA's board before he chose the Huskies over the Bruins and Cal.
Through three games of his senior season, Montgomery has rushed for 548 yards on 78 carries and 10 touchdowns. In a game against Bella Vista, he rushed for 255 yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns.
As a junior last season, Montgomery rushed for 1,915 yards on 215 carries and 35 touchdowns, while being named an all-Section pick.
Academically, Montgomery is carrying a 2.8 GPA and scored a 19 on the ACT.
