"It was great there," said Slocum about UCLA. "They haven't offered me yet, but they plan to as soon as I take care of a couple of things I need to."
Slocum said the hold up was a qualifying test score and he said that when he gets his results back, he feels that the Bruin staff will extend the offer.
"I met with Coach (Karl) Dorrell and Coach (Eric) Bieniemy on Saturday. I really like those guys. They are really straight forward and tell you how it is," said Slocum. "Chris Markey was my host and he is real cool. I hung out with him and Maurice Drew. I got along with both of them real well."
"I should know after the Cal trip where I want to go," said Slocum. "If I don't decide, then I might still take the Washington State trip. But I hope to know before then."
Slocum declined to name a leader. "Everyone is wide open. I'm not leaning any way. I want to see and know all of my options before I decide," said Slocum.
Despite an injury-ravaged senior year, Slocum rushed for 752 yards and eight touchdowns in four games.
