Dixon, who threw for over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns last season as a junior, wouldn't offer up which schools recruiting him are his favorites. "I'm really wide open," he said. "There are so many that are recruiting me that I don't know what to think."
When asked if he was looking at schools in the Pac-10 – specifically the ones he had named before, UCLA, Oregon, USC, and Washington -- he said, "I'm looking at a lot of schools, including those in the Pac-10."
When asked what schools had offered him, Dixon said he wasn't quite sure, but knew that UCLA, Cal, Oregon State and Washingon had.
It wasn't just a matter that Dixon was being evasive, our conversation was taking place right before the quarterback throwing drills, and Dixon was very pumped up. With a big smile, he just kept saying, "I want to throw, man, I want to throw."
He tested well, running in the 4.5 – 4.6 range in the 40, and in the 4.4 range in the shuttle. He looks quite a it like a young, skinny Randall Cunningham, in the way he moves, his throwing motion and arm strength.
