Bruin Report Online has learned that UCLA tight ends coach and assistant head coach Jon Embree has agreed to take a position with the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was reported here first on BRO a couple of weeks ago that Embree was interviewing with the Chiefs for their tight ends coaching position.

Embree will leave UCLA after three years, being one of the first hires by Head Coach Karl Dorell when he took over the head-coaching position in 1993.

Sources are indicating that Dorrell has been considering potential candidates for the tight end coaching position, with current UCLA assistant Brian Schneider being consider. Schneider was the tight ends coach at Colorado State for six seasons before coming to UCLA.
