Jerime Anderson, the 6-1 sophomore point guard from Anaheim (Calif.) Canyon, is emerging as one of the best point guards in the west in the class of 2008.

While Brandon Jennings of Compton Dominguez and Larry Drew, Jr. of Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft have gotten most of the attention for point guards in the west for the class of 2008, Anderson very well might be proving this season that he is at least as good a prospect.

UCLA assistant Kerry Keating attended this game, which featured Canyon against league rival Villa Park.

In this game, Anderson had 25 points, 8 rebounds, five assists and 3 steals.

Anderson is #5 in red.
