Travis Draper Update

The offensive/defensive line prospect from Paso Robles, Travis Draper, showed again at UCLA's one-day camp that he's more than likely among the best line prospects in the west...

Travis Draper, 6-4, 255, Paso Robles, could have been the best offensive line prospect of the day at the UCLA one-day camp.

Like he did at the Nike Camp a couple of months ago, he showed excellent quickness and mobility, and very good feet.

Undoubtedly UCLA will probably start to pick up its recruitment of Draper.

When asked if he had a favorite school, Draper said, "USC. They're at the top of my list right now. They've offered and I've always liked them."

Draper said that Washington and Washington State have also offered, and those three, along with UCLA, would round out his top four schools.

He did say, though, that if UCLA offered a scholarship, "it would make a diference."

He said he's more than likely not going to commit anytime soon and wants "to keep his options open." He said, "I really want to take some trips and make a good decision. It's a big decision and I want to get as much information as I can."

Draper is being recruited as both an offensive line and defensive line prospect. "Some coaches have said they'd like to see me on defense, but probably most of them are recruiting me for offensive line. I like both."
