NorCal Athlete Logan Todd

The other half of the Twin Todds from Merced is Logan Todd, the 6-3, 205-pounder who has been primarily a quarterback in high school, but is getting looks at other positions in college...

Like his fraternal twin brother Carter, Merced (Calif.) quarterback Logan Todd (6-3, 205) anxiously awaits his first scholarship offer.

Todd has been receiving interest from California, Washington, Oregon, Michigan State, Northwestern, Fresno State and Stanford, while UCLA is beginning to show interest as well.

However, with Chris Forcier already committed to the Bruins, Todd would likely have to switch positions, which could happen anyhow. "UCLA is a good school and if they were interested, I'd be interest. They could always be in the mix. They're supposed to be up for some of our practices next month," Todd said.

For now, Todd's top two schools are California and Fresno State. "Cal is my favorite. We go to their camps. But Fresno State is right there too. They're the home school," Todd said.

Todd said that, even though he's waiting for the first offer, he wouldn't be ready to commit anywhere yet even if he received one. "I guess it depends on the school, but I want to take some time," Todd said. "If I could stay close to home, I would. But if a school from outside wanted me, I wouldn't say no because it would be kind of fun to get away."

A productive junior season launched Todd into the spotlight. He finished with 142 completions for 2,260 yards and 20 touchdowns.

He has already attended the Elite 11 tryout and will be at the Scout.com Combine next weekend, then the Stanford Nike Camp the following weekend. In June, he will attend the Cal contact camp with his teammates.

Academically, Todd has a 3.5 GPA and scored a 1590 on the SAT.
