Anderson has a great combination of size, skill level, athleticism and feel for the game. You don't see a lot of young point guards these days who really understand the nuances of playing point guard. But Anderson is clearly a guy who gets it and that makes him relatively unique among players in his class. He has very good vision, he makes plays for others and he plays to win.
We spoke with Anderson recently and asked him about the schools he's hearing from so far.
"UCLA is really showing a lot of interest and they're definitely recruiting me the hardest right now," said Anderson. "I'm also hearing from Stanford, Washington and Arizona -- they've all come out to see me recently at practices."
When asked if he has a leader, Anderson replied, "UCLA is definitely my leader. They've let me know they're very interested and they're coming off a national championship game -- that helps."
Anderson said that he could see himself making an early decision.
"I've talked with my parents about it," said Anderson. "I think I'd like to get the recruiting process done soon."
Asked if any school has offered yet, Anderson said, "No, they haven't offered yet."
Anderson said he's considering going to a couple team camps in June.
"I'm going to the UCLA camp and I might go to the USC camp as well," said Anderson.
Anderson previously told us that he has a GPA around 3.7.
